  1. Thanx guys love this show. My 2 cents (sense) here is that this Rangers Team already has a Miller and there’s no room for another one! Especially since he’s already been here and the Team moved on from him plus, he’s got to some degree the TD (former Ranger, Cane, Flyer) Syndrome which wreaks havoc in whatever locker room they’re in. Too. Much. Drama…. not enough TEAM. And to think about trading him for Laffy is … well laughable… I think the jury is still out on LaFreniere. He started to show what he can do last season-haven’t seen much this year from him but I don’t see this as a good move for the Rangers…or, if yor going to trade Lafreniere away then get the guy who’s going to be the next Captain from day one..
Hopefully the recent turnaround sticks and the Rangers keep rolling.

  2. Smith, Lindgren and Borgen are must moves regardless of standings. If Mika can't be dealt, i've also been big on moving from Chytil if he can be packaged for a good replacement…Hard to depend on his future

  3. Shouldn't. Team is still butter soft on defense, REFUSES to play 60 full minutes, and incapable of scoring 5v5. Sell! Sell! Sell!!!!!!!!

  4. This team turned a corner with the 5-3 loss to Florida December 29th since then they have 1 loss in regulation let's go Rangers

  5. Laffy for Miller should be off the table Larry because that's crazy!!. I think we need Miller as our 1C but not for that price, we still need to revamp this defense if we seriously want to contend for a cup in 2026 and beyond.

  6. You guys are the most fun and informative broadcast about the NYR that I've heard in a very long time. My fandom stretches back to the Cat running things and Bill Chadwick, the Big Whistle, interviewing the likes of King Clancy during intermission. Espo, JD, you are carrying on a great tradition. Thanks again. You have made this season better. 🎉

  7. JTM is signed through 2028-29, so he will be 36 at the end of that contract. He peaked between 21-22 and 24. He's 31 and on the down side. LaFreniere is only 23 and has all of his best years ahead of him. No I would not even consider this trade. I would offer a 2nd, a 3rd and a B-level prospect.

  8. Would love to get JT Miller but definitely not for Lafreniere. That would be insane. He,s picked up his play lately and he’s only 23 with too much potential. He also was one of our best players in the playoffs last year.

  9. I'm tired of seeing sleepy foggy Mika Zzzzombiebad and can't wait to see him traded, as well as Kreider, Miller, Lindgren, Vesey. Mika and Kreider are not worth breaking the cap for. If the Rangers make the Playoffs they will be out in the first round. The expectations for this group are not to just make the Playoffs Mika has been playing poorly for 2 Playoffs and 2 seasons now. Time to trade him and Kreider. These are not the Stars the Rangers are going to win with. Lafreniere should also be traded while he''s still worth a return, or the Rangers will get nothing back when they trade him in 2 years when they finally admit he's a bust like Kakko.
