The NHL is TERRIFIED this is happening…

Nick Gosse and Darius Domingues break down how the Winnipeg Jets sent a serious message following a huge win.

  1. Watched my first Jets game against Colorado with Helly shutout. Was very impressed with Kupari speed. We keep him I think he gets better. Any takers for Stanley it’s not working out and this year we can’t have lame ducks.

  2. Logan Stanley has been a liability for so long, it's almost like Chevy reminisces his 2 goal game in the second round in 2020 which was nothing but a logan stanley legacy game

  3. Logan Stanley is in the wrong system, he should be on a rebuilding team or the minors. You ever see the movie Fury with Brad Pitt and they have this tank crew who works well together then this new kid Norman comes along and screws everything up including getting his own tank convoy ambushed because he's inexperienced and doesn't fit in with the rest of the squad? That's Logan Stanley.

  4. There seems to be a consensus in the comments. So why have three straight NHL coaches given this guy every opportunity? I like to think I am a reasonable man, but I get don't the infatuation with Stanley, its just so painful. Sigh. Sure, they need PK guys and grit but please, please, stop.

  5. Scheifele got a natural hat trick against the Laffs, so Monahan's is NOT the last natural hat trick. Also, Stanley has gotten better the last number of games- all things considered! Either way, the coach knows best- FAR more than ANY armchair coaches/GM, that's for sure!

  6. For the people who are ragging on Stanly, what do you want from our #7 d-man. Sure we can let him walk, or trade him for whatever we can get, but what does that leave us with? Do people honestly think they will find someone who is better. The truth is he shouldn't be playing if everyone is healthy, but he is serviceable when players aren't, and on other teams he would probably be on their 3rd line.

  7. Winnipeg scored six goals and I don’t see anybody picking apart any individual Vancouver Canucks defenceman for allowing Kyle Connor to dance around them three times for a natural hat trick. Somehow Adam Lowry was able to out skate Quinn Hughes after Hughes made a bad decision on the point during a power-play and no one‘s talking about it.

Why is it when Winnipeg scores? It’s the great play by our forwards but when Vancouver scores it’s a letdown by Stanley? Granted, the puck bounced weirdly into his feet and he made a mistake, trying to play it with his glove, but there was still a defenceman back. It was a partial two on one and it was a brilliant shot that scored the goal. The Jets gave up lots of other shots during the game That wasn’t the only one that just happened to score to blame him for the loss of a shout out seems kind of ridiculous.

There is an obsession with STANLEY and if you obsess over anybody’s game long enough, you’ll see plenty of mistakes along the way. When you start trading away 6 foot seven 245 pound defenceman because of a mistake here in there you better have something brilliant to replace them with because come play off time. There’s a lot of guys on the one with the blue line, we’re gonna get run over. Yeah maybe once in a while people go past him, but he always gives other teams. Something else to think about Logan Stanley is a beast who, if he is able to clean up some inconsistencies in his game will pay incredible dividends. One thing about him offensively is he hits the net which is more than you could say about almost every other defenceman on the Jets. Logan is very good at putting low hard shots on the net that can be deflected or force the goalie to give up rebounds. He is tough in his own end has a long stick and is good at breaking up place. Trust me, if he goes to another team his mistakes won’t look that significant in another jersey. Meanwhile, every giant body check and elimination of players in front of the net will be heartbreaking for Jets fans watching Jamie Benn running over Pionk and Heinola.

  8. ENOUGH with the Giant arse Pylon Stanley. Cost Helly another shutout. Ville playing on his off side with a Pylon and still looked good. That's literally impossible. Ville deserves so much credit playing with a Pylon. That's literally not fair.
