one of those "bad" calls was immediately after a phantom holding penalty on trey smith, so a wash in my mind. but no one ever talks about the bad calls that goes against the chiefs

KC fan here. There were two bad calls that helped KC. They didn't look bad at full speed and a home team that also has the face of the league at QB is going to get the benefit of the doubt (see Brady with the Pats). But KC beat Houston in every phase of the game, even though it was close for a large portion of the game.

Chiefs fans, ooh 8 sacks!!! But dont say anything about the horrible calls? 2 calls for Roughing the passer, no holding calls, calls that ended the Texans drives. Even the Commentators said about the calls against the Texans, well it was expected, no surprise here.

While I didnāt see anything in the two hit on Mahomes that to ME seem to rise to the flagging level the helmets touched so by the letter of the rules it was a penalty. One of those letter of the law not spirit of the law situations.

Brady made a passing move while "in the grasp." There's no way the rusher can see if he passed the ball. Fear of being penalized was greater than fear of not getting a sack. He doesn't need the stigma of driving the most valuable man in football into the ground unnecessarily. Protecting the quarterback is important, but not letting the players actually play football will ruin the game. And i'm a Brady/Patriots fan."

Truth is is that its hard to win games giving up 8 sacks and missing 3 kicks. Blame the refs all you want but the Texans just couldnt get the job done.

Colin, Roughing the passer was only called on Texans opponents three times all season. Shroud doesnāt get those calls. Thatās a Mahomes special and letās be honest. It makes a difference and decides games.
