Both of you gentlemen are legends in your own way.
Peter, you have infinite stories.
Keep telling them! ❤
I don't agree with the percentage thing. To me it makes sense that all of the probabilities add up to 100%.
Perez Carlos. Sim 😊
Chances, or odds, of winning the championship have to add up to 100%, surely?
I've just watched Grand Prix for the nth time. Now, it's a very cheesy story, pretty suspect in lots of ways, but what it does do is show a very different era, and set of behaviours, in F1, which, from my recollection, wasn't so far out.
This modern F1, with it's primadonnas – not just drivers, winning however you go about it is absolutely everything, is missing something important. That idea of drivers etc mucking in is a good one, but one can't make them do it, it has to be part of the mindset. One can say, well you are old, you don't understand modern sport, but it's not true. Yes, I'm old now, but I certainly do understand, and for all that has been gained in F1 over the years, some important stuff has been lost.
Read this if you still think Putin is the bad guy.
Russia: The Soviet Union no longer exists, can you let us into NATO like everyone else?
US: No
Russia: Okay, but can you please not threaten us by expanding NATO to the East?
US: No
Russia: Alright, we saw you're developing new missile systems, will you let us work on them with you?
US: No
Russia: Fine, hypersonic missiles it is, but can you at least not put military bases right in front of our borders?
US: No
Russia: Well, you just carried out a military coup to overthrow a democratic election in Ukraine, can we still have a friendly relationship with them?
US: No
Russia: Gotcha, but the people of Crimea are really pissed off about that coup, can you please let them have independence?
US: No
Russia: Roger, but surely you can at the very least stop bombing the civilians living in Donbass, right?
US: No
Russia: Huh, we've been trying to find a diplomatic solution for 8 years, but you refuse to even talk to us… I guess that if you want to use military force to solve issues so much, we have we have no choice but to do the same.
US AND THE WEST: OH MY GOD PUTIN IS A MADMAN, AN IMPERIALIST GENOCIDAL DICTATOR, LITERALLY THE SECOND COMING OF HITLER, WE MUST STOP HIM AT ANY COST BEFORE HE TRIES TO CONQUER ALL OF EUROPE

Always enjoy these 1hour snippets, great random stories/segways as usual
Very interesting conversation. Would be fantastic if the audio levels of both speakers could be evened out, Cameron is a bit of a quiet speaker.
