The only core player that is playing very well is Quinn Hughes. A team cannot have success without the core players playing at lease to 80% of their collective ability … and they are not.

It’s time to have an old fashioned bag skate. The Canuck players are playing lazy,uninspired hockey and have no fear for their jobs. Call up some guys from Abby and sit the guys that aren’t making an effort. These players are unprofessional .

Tocchet is now looking about as "checked out" as most of the Canuck players on the ice look.
Rutherford and Allvin don't have the luxury of waiting for teams to offer up a king's ransom for Miller or Pettersson.
Based on age difference, it's more likely they need to trade Miller, but they will also have to accept that they won't get back a big haul for him.
The clock is ticking on the Canucks' season, which is now quickly heading toward being another non-playoff appearance year.
Trade everyone except Hughes for Hughes Bros in NJ.

Tocchet has lost his spunk. Team has tuned him out.Miller just doesn’t look right. Something is off.

It's the angry orca logo. 👎 Or is Tocchet the problem? Anyway, they played decently when Miller was on his leave, and Pettersen was much better during that stretch. Do they really need JT? Trade for a couple high draft picks and a decent defenceman and move on.
Need Thatcher Demko to go to Abbotsford Canucks and do some training till he's back to what he was. Need maybe Quinns brothers to play with canucks.
I'd call this Team a Train Wreck but at this point that sounds like a compliment……true story.

Team is not motivated due to 1 of 2 reasons, the locker room dissension between jt and petey, or they have stopped listening to tocchet, management has to deal with this situation asap or their best player and captain quinn hughes will not want to be in this situation when his contract expires, management gets paid to correct these situations, no more procrastination act NOW, before its to late, by the way Petterson is the highest most overrated paid player in hockey! Management fault for not keeping Cole and resigning Zadorov, defense is aweful. Obvious Miller got "im gonna be traded" in the back of his mind affecting his play. Allvin needs to be fired for his trade decisions, they have no depth right now to replace injured players

Hughes is out ,he will 100% leave end of season and the clowns who say he is under contract look it up he can ask to be traded at anytime especially the clause in his contract that says if the team is bunk he can bounce!! He can go to any other NHL market where the fanbase is not delusional and so obnoxious . Where the local media does not actually talk more delusional then the fanbase.
