Does New Jersey want to get BOTH Miller AND Pettersson, the crux of the whole problem in Vancouver? I think not. No team's going to want to take both, they know they're dancing on a landmine if they do that, and it's career suicide to even contemplate that, unless one of them's part of a 3 way deal to instantly go somewhere else and break up the Family Feuders.
EDIT: I'm also not a fan of the idea of trading Brock Boesser. He's currently a victim of being stuck on the wings with The Apathy Man, and we need to see him on a line with all members engaged to assess if he's still a keeper or a let him go guy. There's still 2 months or so to the deadline, so plenty of time to assess and decide later.
Devils don't want JT. This is just a ploy for NYR to spend more assets for him.

Miller is a disgruntled player having a bad year on a long term deal who has to be traded asap so why are the Devils paying up? The Canucks are not gonna get the value Vancouver fans think. Also, please stop saying Hughes…they're untouchable especially since it means Quinn will want to come here.
