  1. Wish the suckup local media would ask him about Sean Paytons injury comments-yesterday I think it was. Different sport,& obviously some of injuries is bad luck. But Payton was adamant-& I paraphrase-THAT IF YOU KEEP CONSTANTLY HAVING RIDICULOUS INJURY ISSUES-ITS NOT ONLY BAD LUCK-BUT CLEARLY THE ORGANIZATION IS DOING SOMETHING WRONG-sound familiar? He clearly wouldn't merely chalk it all up to just rotten football god, injury luck- if his team was remotely in same boat.

He was talking about the Broncos before him.Im no doctor,& I'm sure it's a thousand different things. More than 1 thing can be true at same time. But I have wondered about this LONG AGO,& Paytons comments REALLY made me think. We keep saying the AVS have rotten injury luck-& that just has to be true to some degree. But after like 5 years of being the most injured contender almost constantly-its way beyond a huge sample size trend by now.Similar to our mediocre record without Nichuskin,& elite record with him. Can't keep calling it total coincidence after 4-5 yrs.

Remember this started in 2020 COVID season. AVS were decimated with injuries at COVID stoppage. But everybody except Wilson healed up since they stopped the season for like 2 months or whatever. But then what happened? After smoking Arizona-they were down to 3rd string goalie,& missing like 6-7 regulars by the middle of Dallas series. And almost pulled off a miracle-getting to OT of game 7 with quasi AHL roster. And it's been almost nonstop insane injuries since. And different guys all the time seemingly.Im not saying it's all on the training staff or I have the answers. I'm certainly not saying anybody should get fired though can it really be completely ruled out at this point?

Why doesn't WPG or Dallas seemingly EVER have remotely the injuries we do?Minny has dealt with similar issues this year,& had another season where they probably had close to as many as us. But no contender can really match our injury issues the entire 2020s.The Cup year wasn't terrible but certainly wasn't totally blessed injury wise either. And sure is something that makes ya go hmmm…I wish somebody in the media would dare ask if anybody has looked into it,&/or questioned our training staff? Obviously as honest as Bednar is-hes not gonna throw them under the bus-nor should he. But it sure would be a valid question of at least McFarland or Sakic especially.

  2. Theres a motivational issue, cant let them be comfortable with a lead . they play better with a sense of urgency. Powerplay is absolute trash, get back to basics and quit with the cute plays. crash the net and shoot the puck!

  3. Is there something going on with the chemistry? Too many passengers every game.
Mikko wants a big contract, but right now, he doesn't deserve one.
PP is bad, too much passing, opponents have figured out who is on the ice.
Maybe the Avs players need to decide what they want this season. Playoffs or not?

  4. What about credit to the Edmonton Oilers🫡
They just don’t start right from the puck drop ,and the Avs don’t keep the pedal to the metal it seems🫡 lots of hockey to go👊🏽

  5. As an oiler fan, I find it very difficult to dislike the aves, or their coach. It would be great if their captain is able to make it all the way back, would love a WCF between these two teams

  6. Avs is a team of figure skaters without any grit, and their defense sucks. People thought Blackwood would resolve everything. No, the defense is awful and Blackwood magic will fade just like georgiev magic after his first good year faded quick in the pplayoffs of that same year,.

  7. We need to figure out if landy will go or not. Hes not even skating at practice i love the guy and appreciate the patience but i just wanna see my team win man

  8. Both teams played great, great chances on both ends if the goalies were not on their games it would have been an 8 7 win for the oilers instead of a 4-3

  9. I don’t think I’ve seen an Avs game in 3 years where I was like hey they have actually played the entire game win or lose. Just pathetic to blow a 3 point lead and could care less

  10. Im primarily oilers fan but avs are right behind so no exactly rooting for them to lose. Just 2 offensive juggernauts.

  11. Bla bla bla if he talks to players with the same emotions no wander no one gives a fuck about his words amd play the way they played this game with Oilers…

  12. Oilers fan here and both teams are guilty of taking their foot off the gas once they have a lead, both oilers and Avs will face off in WCF, both teams are too good to not go that far

  13. As an Oilers fan we had to get Wacked by Pittsburgh to get a regulation win on The Avs 😂 the Hockey Gods are cruel but Just 😂

  14. I think the avs biggest issue rn is that they have a $5million 2C who is not only on the 4th line but teetering on a healthy scratch because of how horrible he's been

  15. Another Oilers fan here with lots of love for the Avs. Great team and great coach. Our teams have a lot of similarities so we tend to find each other's soft spots here and there but it's a pretty good match up whenever we play.
