If anyone were to tell me over the off-season that Washington would be better than the rangers I would tell that person they were on drugs, let along drastically better. I know they improved over the offseason but nobody saw this coming and nobody saw ovechkins resurgence.
They should trade Rempe while he still has some value. They should trade off, Kreider, Lindgren, Smith, maybe Quick wants to play playoffs and willing to trade too, we can get some assets for him as well. Key could be traded if there is any value there for him.
Did Rangers steal or win or did the Utah's goalie gift the Rangers the win. Honestly poor goaltending on each side. Igor has not looked sharp since returning from injury with bad rebound control, drifting out of position when making lateral moves..etc. maybe I am being to hard on them, but I was not impressed at all by tonight's win. Just a very sloppy game from both teams. I still think Rangers should be sellers at the deadline, but that is just me.
