I’m as excited as any other Habs fan but I still don’t think we’re in the same stratosphere as the elite teams. Patrick Laine is actually starting to reallly piss me off. His defensive game is horrible . Ye totally blew a cocerage on the far wall for a good scoring chance and serious, lethal PP but not much else…not giving up uust annoying

Really like watching MTL this season, the first line looks like theyve progressed alot, if they stay consistent oh my. Nice content, Armia is one of my favs, consistent, knows his role, extremly good at PKs ever since he joined the nhl, he is legit barkov level when on the penalty kill. Good content, this season might have actually made me a mtl fan, havent enjoyed watching hockey like this in years. 😂
Dobes is having a great start ! But stay away from that communion wine Dekes. We got rid of Barron thankfully and hopefully Matheson is next ! The guy is absolute garbage ! Ya he got a goal the other night but he's cost so many goals it's pathetic !
great game drew!! we r playing aggressive hockey for most of the game. cant wait for youngsters to get called up. savard,armia, gally , devorak still gotta go. stinks that armia has been collecting a check his whole career & done nothing. we cant take a chance on a resign. owen beck will easily take his spot. like i was saying to you since evans was with lekenon & byron & shutting down mcdavid line , evans should be our first line defensive center, playing against the other team is number one line. Why put Suzuki caughfield and slavKowski to watch the other team controller puck in our zone for their whole shift?
Ok lets us hab fans relax. Let's not go too crazy and turn him into another prima donna like we made Price into. Let's just enjoy and hold our breath that it lasts.
Different players are stepping up each game. Great for team morale with points being spread around and everyone is dialed in. Very proud of these kids.
Super Mario Armia was a beast against the stars. He's a tireless worker along the boards and an ideal playoff piece for a long grind. Let's hope that they get a peak into the post season this team could surprise a few.
Of course, the Habs aren't simply for real as they raise their game past the point of being legitimate, they are changing the franchise for the foreseeable future, a surely as there are a lot of great prospects in the system…more of it all coming. Has the wait been worth it? IMO, the big thing here is honing the type of game that championship teams are made of. And who knows that better than MTL? Cheers for all that. Go Habs!
One fact no one is talking about is if the NY rangers would have let their rebuild to work to fruition, they would be in a much better spot today. instead Montreal gets to feed off of that vision.
I was just about to type Dach and you added your comment. His stride is noticeably better in the last month. Credit to him. You had some online media ripping on him every game saying he didn't prepare himself for the season. That one instance he grabbed the puck in his own zone and just took some big boy strides and entered it into the offensive zone himself. I wanted to clip that and send it but I didn't. I think he is becoming the 2nd line center they had envisioned before his injury. And I LOVE the support Laine gives him. Pure happiness for another is an amazing team attribute and it definitely seems like Habs have that. Go Habs Go

Slafkovski looked so exhilarated, for a long time, after scoring his goal. He had a pretty good game as well.
