I recently saw my first Leafs game and one thing you can't appreciate only watching on TV is just how good Marner is. It's like he's psychic.

Just want to point out: Rielly had 24:14 TOI in this game, McCabe had 24:16. Rielly looked much better this game and I think it's because of the extra 2-3 mins. Rielly's average to date for the season is around 21, which is third lowest in his career (ahead of only his rookie years). This team wants Rielly to produce, they need to play him more and they need to get him out with some of the teams best players more, not just with the 3rd and 4th line. Tonight is an example of why.
Auston is still Auston. I was getting worried about him earlier this year but I'd say he's back to his old self.

I think it was after Knies got shoved into the net and got hurt, with no penalty on the play (it was interference at the very least) that the ANGER ramped up. Auston was on fire after that, as was Mitch and Willy. I definitely think that was a motivating incident for the boys.

I have to say, I am a tad worried about Joseph Wolls’ tending.
He is a bit of a pinball machine. It seems (to me and my hubby) he doesn’t absorb the puck well, can’t control the rebounds, it really looks like he doesn’t track the puck once it pings off him.
IDK… Do these things get better with time? Or, do we get what we’ve got.
I’m worried about the latter. Unfortunately 😰
