I'm loving this style of Duck game recaps & when fans give truthful observations on games with bias I'm all for that as long as it never insults the audiences intelligence. With regards to that Zary collision the TV pundit definitely crossed a line, I understand he wants a positive result for Anaheim but calling that a shoulder to shoulder tackle even conjoined twins couldn't have made that happen. Not great losing to the Flames but hey it made a whole bunch of Mum's happy!

It was a great game yesterday and accidentally almost grilled wild wing (again) for ask him take a picture with my gf jersey (basically when he see my gf jersey is flames, he stand in front of it) 🤣 oh well at least we still have 1 point and Go Ducks 🦆🏒

I was right in front of the Helleson play and i immediately screamed that it was a clean hit. Looked 100% like a clean hip check in real time.
Also im still scratching my head at the minty call with Gibby having covered the puck and not getting the whistle- funny bc I feel like every time he tries to freeze momentarily in OT they blow the play dead SO fast.
Just like when bro fell on Leo's leg…. That wasnt a penalty… Plain and simple, it wasnt even a 2… He went in clean and Zary tried to jump over, that's on him. That was only called cuz he was rolling on the ice like he was shot. Hate all you want, that was a whack ass call and glad the hockey gods agreed.

I was there and I was booing, but I'll take the Calgary injury for the Carlson injury last year… Sucks doesn't it's flames 🤷🏾. OT goal was the worst luck, puck goes off the boards and over the crossbar🤯
That looked dirty as hell in real time, from a Ducks fan at the game. The fans looked like idiots booing. The Ducks NOT putting it up was all the confirmation needed, as they have zero issues immediately putting up actual bad calls.
Wasn’t a dirty hit and no intent to injure. Trying to play the body resulted in the collision when Zary tried to cut.
I have a really hard time listening to Etem when he does any sort of commentary. He needs to slow down and stop talking so much … 😩
Not a dirty hit, but it was unfortunate it was knee on knee. Helleson plays a clean aggressive game…love this kid. Spot on video review – great job. Ducks face off % – 54%! Not a 60 minute game…we need to start with more jump and bump on the other team. Gudas and Trouba picked up the hitting toward the later part of the game which is why Flames had a tougher 3rd period against us. We are still guilty of not shooting the puck. Trouba puck clearing off the back wall and ends up in front of our net!!!! Just Duck luck…it’s why we need to be ahead on the scoring instead of coming from behind. Team is getting better. Go Ducks!!!
Flames fan here, hate to see a hit like that on Zary but I agree that it wasn't dirty. Totally incidental based on the speed of the game.

It was actually nice to have Emerson off color commentary duty they had Alexis Downey as the color commentator and it was much more enjoyable there was actually banter between her and Steve as opposed to Emerson and Steve where Emerson says something doofy and you can hear Steve blinking and staring at him with his mouth agape before he makes some comment to the effect of what the fuck are you talking about Emerson only in broadcaster speak
