They brought a horrible effort to a very important game. Sullivan makes a questionable challenge on that first one but doesn't challenge the fourth goal. No body stood out tonight, even Sid was not good, Rust was bad, so when your best is not good, then THIS team don't win. The team that chases never gets the calls and Pittsburgh was chasin all night. Even with Rust sitting out a shift, he goes with Beauvillier, why not Bunting…..him and Sid have great chemistry. There was no response, no pushback, they gave up as did their coach, this is their identity, I asked what it was about five games ago and here it is folks. They beat the oilers in a great team game and lose to Ottawa, its never the coach, its never Dubas, can't be the players……has to be the refs! LOL nope. That had to be one of their top 3 worst games this year, PP was dead, got scored on first two shots, and they got bullied by Norris & Cousins, awful effort but at least it was a sixty minute effort!
Oh man. This game was humiliating. Yet again lets in the first shot against. And my favorite thing where they give up scoring chances while on the pp. How do you get up for the oilers but go catatonic against a team near you in the standings?
FYI. The Penguins aren’t what they once were. No team is circling them on the calendar as a key game. They are just one of a number of lousy teams in the east. Also, lot of whining about refs here, really sad. I guess the Pens are just choir boys. Also, tkachuk can play there without his helmet. Rules are rules.

How come they played awesome against oilers but crapped the bed with Ottawa. Sad and pathetic, I just don't get this team.😢
