Sadly I don’t have any confidence in any trade or pick that Kyle Davidson makes now.
the most you will get for hall is a 3rd round pick maybe if some team has guys hurt get a 2nd
Taylor Hall seems like a great guy, I’m sure a lot of the vets are, but this is a business feelings need to be pushed aside. The Hawks aren’t making progress and the Hawks need to FULLY commit to the rebuild. Hall, Foligno, Dickinson, Maroon, Smith, Martinez, Murphy, Jones, Brodie all need to go.
Team needs to get younger and change the culture. The only vets you keep are Donato, Teuvo, and Bert.

We need to stop tearing down at some point. Why trade a guy who can still be a skilled bottom6 to fringe top 6 guys for what? A 3rd or mid 2nd round pick. What are more picks going to do? We can’t make this offense ever more anemic.
On one end you scream “get Bedard help”
On the other you can’t also say, ok ya let’s trade the only est player of value we have.
Now is the time to stop tearing stuff down. If we get to a point where Hall is truly taking a roster spot from young guys (he’s not) you trade him then. We don’t need another 2nd round pick we need to make this team competent and continuing to tear anything down is just gonna make us even worse and Bedard’s life even worse.
