  1. Australian skipper and all rounder Steve Waugh was my childhood crush.steve Waugh from Oceania .I enjoyed his walking, talking, stares. When he came for the toss round wearing that cap, that silk coat, reserved, eyes either looking forward or looking downward, my heart beat faster. I remember him holding the trophy with his hands, smiling, when the nation won the world cup, I think that was 99'. I still do love him as Shakespeare wrote in his sonnet about love – ' ……..it was an ever – fixed mark', ' ………. love's is not time's fool……' . All the best captain for your present and future

  5. No cricketer ever got an ovation like that in history! The great Steve Waugh, he changed Australian cricket forever! Not just a great batsman, he was a great bowler too until he back issues forced him to give up on bowling (Waugh invented the back off the arm slower delivery which is so popular now). The greatest captain of all time! All of that in one player!
