Great topic.
Quite apart from those points raised about the Cup run team, you've also got the 07-08 Habs, who finished 3rd in the NHL with 104 pts. Had a PPG Kovalev, prime Plekanec, Markov, and Streit, Saku Koivu, and a rookie Carey Price.
