Canucks got crushed and Lankinen is human after all. Not a playoff team, a middle of the pack team that needs to rebuild around Hughes. They'l' just trade more draft picks to get mediorce players to try to get that playoff revenue. Ownership is a joke.

I hope you all realize Hughes will not resign here. Heās going to go to New Jersey and take a massive pay cut to do so. The time to trade him is now while his value is at its highest. If not he will walk for nothing. This team is a joke and starts at the top. The owner is trash. Management needs to be fired for giving out horrible contracts and having the worst asset management in the league. Scouting staff need to be fired and get someone who looks outside of Sweden for players. What can I say about pd that I havenāt said before. Worst contract in the league. Hes physically and mentally weak. He has zero heart. He gets bodied endlessly and is invisible most nights. And heās a whiner and a baby. Tochett is garbage. Never calls a timeout when theyāre getting destroyed. They need to trade Hughes miller pd and flow at the deadline. Get a mountain of pics and prospects and free up about 34 million. Tank hard for 2 years to get 2 top 5 pics. It might take about 5 years to turn around but thatās better than 10 years of missing the playoffs. Which is coming. Pathetic.
I mean Iām not picking on Petey here but I guess maybe I am a bit and itās definitely not just him as this team is a mess. Petey is playing a bit better than he was some great defensive play but seriously at 11.2 million a year and he has 10 or 11 goals so at that pace heāll be lucky to finish the season with 20. Iām sorry thatās just not good enough and especially on a team that has trouble scoring.
Well, let's see they're not a team there a pile of guys playing individually and poorly at that. I think they should all give back their paycheques to charity and I think they should start charging five bucks a ticket because that's about all these teams worth.

Its on Tocchet, down 3 after the first, he should have at least switched goalies to shake up the team. No point keeping Lank in when the team plays so poorly. Nothing ventured nothing gained. And why was Connors wide open when Lank was playing the puck behind the net?

The Midget is the only high priced talent on the team that produces every night. He had a poor game by his standards but was miles ahead of the rest of the high priced talent. Guys like Sherwood is another stand out and is a complete bargain with his contract, to bad he is playing himself right off of my favorite team. His next contract is going to be more than the Canucks can afford. After playing his best game of the season, Petey was invisible, and Milsy was again "thinking and therefore stinking". When your top two centers play that poorly and poor play by the bottom 4 D-men and a joke of structural play was again their demise. A freeby to start the game by Lanker, set the tone for the whole game. The only positives i seen was Hronek looked ok and Hoggy got the monkey off his back. Hopefully that game was the bottom of the Canucks season, cuz a repeat of that performance is a harbinger of a team that likes golfing in may more than hockey. The Big Men on D have got to be better, they should try the Sherwood model and hit everything that moves to get them fired up in the game. The crazy thing is these players have all played way better than they have with the Canucks this year, but are frankly Lousy. If that kind of play continues management will have to take drastic measures to improve the team. Tough decisions coming for management. It is clear Petey and Milsy are not consistent enough to get the Canucks into the playoffs. Despite all the negative comments concerning Milsy's play, her really has only been bad the last few games and really has held the team up earlier in the season. I sense the pressure to do something to right the ship in Orca Bay, is coming fast. Too bad but underperforming players means changes are coming.
Well media inspired or notā¦ā¦Canucks have big issues in the dressing room! Some look like theyāre done for this season, Iām sure one or two want out and itās killing confidence, the inspired are still taking a physical beatingā¦Garland and Hughs in particular!

Again, think weāll miss the playoffs, if we do, another season wasted once again. Now to be fair, if we get in the playoffs, weāll be out 4 straight.
