What to make of Maple Leafs poor play

The Maple Leafs lost their third straight game on Tuesday night and have been outscored 13-4 over the stretch. Is there anything to make of this recent skid? TSN Hockey analyst Bruce Boudreau joins Domino’s That’s Hockey to discuss this and more.

  1. 🙄🙄🙄🙄same old excuses, I'm not a Leaf fan but hey keep on keeping on with your 57 years of no Cup. Sure they make money but they don't win when it counts

  2. for years now, the leafs have been switching lines all the time the whole season. They have never had 4 set lines. They worry too much about who can play with Matthews, well guess what , they did better when he was out, they didn't have to worry about it

  3. Here to support the Leafs & hockey, we love the old hockey grind content y'all do, and we love Bruce's take like the previous vid cause thats him 👍

  4. When greater than 50% of your cap space is allocated to just 4 players, this is what you get. Its so basic that its the basis of all ongoing failure for the Leafs.

  5. Hilarious. Last week it was how the Leafs were top cup contenders and now this, in one week. This is why everyone hates the Toronto sports media.

  6. I would absolutely like to believe the Leafs won’t just make it to a conference final but actually win a Stanley Cup. That said, the lack of urgency the Maple Laughs have, over their past three games, shown is precisely why I believe they won’t even win a playoff series with this team and why I hope Brad Treliving will, no later than the first calendar day after the Leafs have played their last game of this season, set up meetings with Mitch Marner, John Tavares and Morgan Rielly, ideally to tell each of them, provided poor performances by each are substantial causes of why the Leafs end up losing their opening-round playoff series, that they’re 10 years with the leaves are finished, but that they have sales overwatch teams for which they may want to play. In the worst-case scenario, Marner and Tavares will walk into unrestricted free agency while Treliving, provided Rielly isn’t injured during the 2025 original off-season buyout window, will buy out by what by then remains of the defenseman‘s contract.

  7. You already know they're not going on a run. Most likely going to lose in round 1 to a team like Boston or Tampa. If not I really can't see this team beating Florida in round 2
