why are you talkintg about Lankinen like he's a NHL goalie? you know there are about 4 teams in the NHL that give 2 fucks about goaltending…. for better or worse…. I want the best in the world but the best in the world (vassi, helli and mostly bob) have not mattered at all in the playoffs for the vast majority of thier careers. yes a couple have cups but were not the reason in a big way.

Just to go off topic for a moment, what do you think of the concept of wearing retro jerseys? The Jets legitimately own the legacy Jets jerseys, but occasionally Colorado wears Nordiques jerseys and Carolina wears Whalers jerseys. Is this appropriate? Would the Jets ever wear Thrashers jerseys?
