Goalies can’t win them all. Most of our shots were wristers from 40 feet. This team will go 500 the rest of the season. Berube system doesn’t fit in Toronto. We don’t have the players who can play a playoff type system. The new president is a poser. Shannahan should have been fired period last offseason. Now he will take Tre and Berube with him. Trade Nylander. Enough of this guy. IDC he’s our best playoff performer. That’s not saying much. Marner is just a floater. NO aggression whatsoever on the forecheck.
I am so frustrated with Mo Houdini: I writing a song about him, I'll post it here soon. I didn't see the hit but my kid who in his young life has never seen Mo hit anyone , freaked out upon seeing it, I went to the fridge n I missed it. 7.5 m for Mo who can't make a short pass , won't play D , avoids battles in the corners like the plague, selfish in the O zone like Tavares. who for a cool 11.5 m can't skate, deke, pass , only reason he puts up some points is because like Mo he is selfish never ever looking for his team mates always for his shot. He is a line killer. I have always said no cup with Tavares and Reilly but I think I am going to include Berube from now on. Years and years of dump and chase vs controlled entries.
Marner’s contract is going to be a distraction moving forward….lets dump him and pick up a tough D man and a hard nose forward…if we keep Mitchy this team will have a first round departure.

The core four proved that they were incapable of winning important games and big changes should have been made after the playoff loss to the Habs but insanity prevails and they keep rolling with the same lineup with the same results.
Coaching decisions on this team are out of this world awful. And the only reason for the (now dissipating) defensive uptick in numbers was the new acquisitions, Stolarz and Tanev (and McCabe playing with him). Berube has utterly neutered the offense, you don't even see highlights anymore, just boring af. And don't play Rielly with the 3rd line, like you said, accident waiting to happen. Such an overrated coach.
Love the rants………can’t stand watching the games anymore! Leafs are just a bad hockey team…….period! If not for goaltending……..leafs would not be in a playoff position right now! I can’t see them maintaining their position for much longer! They’re already heading south!😂😂
You have to wonder why most of the Leafs poor performances are at home in their own barn. And why so many goals are scored on them at the very beginning and trailing moments of periods. Marner thinks he’s a hockey god and that a few pirouettes a night gives the fans their moneys worth. The BS analysis , comment for comment, is bang on and I wish the Leafs brass would watch it and fis the problem with the Leafs dressing room. I think Berube is ok but the core players on the team need to be producing a lot more than they have been. As pointed out by BS, Woll and Stolarz are the only reason the Leafs have been high in the standings and the Leafs poor defensive performance in front of their net are a good part of the reason why their goalies are getting injured. Don’t look now, but the Habs who have recently changed their coach are rising up in the standings again largely because their management doesn’t tolerate poor performance. So what are Leafs management doing to improve their performance? Nothing. Get rid of Shanahan and break up the core five while you can still get value for some of the players. Then bring in a few players that don’t have to be superstars to play well defensively. But do something to let the players on the team and the fans know the Leafs play is not acceptable with their currently overpaid underperforming core.
How about Morganna? She was the "Kissing Bandit" who would run out on the field and kiss baseball players. At least she made some contact as opposed to Reilly! LoL
