    But why bench him when you’re not going anywhere this season? If they were contending I could see the argument for a shorter leash.

    If Smith’s getting benched why isn’t Goodrow though, Smith has played way better than him. I think we all would rather see Smith figuring it out playing and Goodrow being taken off instead.
