  1. Thanks as always Scott!! You & Christopher over on patreon along with these videos (& my LOTK ladies!) are my therapy!!!

  2. Seems like there are guys that don't want to be here. Or that they don't want to play for their teammates. Same problem we had before kicking Hakstol to the curb.

  3. As a Kraken fan from Michigan, I am so lucky I didn’t come over to that game because that would be a waste of money!

  4. I'm glad I found your channel! I love hockey but couldn't watch much, so I'm relying on this for now. I'm disappointed with streaming and the costs… Anyway, I wanted to watch, but football stressed me out enough I couldn't handle 2 sports breaking my heart😁😭😁 Keep doing what you're doing 💪💪💪💚💙/💙🤍

  5. I agree. It is definitely over. Let's just make it through this season. I hope for a good draft pick and some massive shake ups in the off-season to try and breathe some life back into the team

  6. I have seen a lot of blame placed on Dunn for both of the goals he was on the ice for but those screenshots you showed for the second goal were damning. He's surrounded by 3 players trying to defend all of them in close while the rest of the team is MIA. Just bad team defense :/

Sorry about your voice, hope it gets better soon!

  7. Look, I'm a German fan whose favourite Kraken player is Gru, but… as much as the D needs to show up more, you'd expect him to have SOME of those shots. You shouldn't have a 0.25 SV% in 2-on-1 drills, much less a game.

  8. So do we need anymore proof that Grubauer either doesn't have the trust of the team in front of him so they just don't play or he's done something to piss them off? As per usual. THEY FLAT DIDN'T PLAY OR DO ANYTHING. I've not been so annoyed at this lack of effort since the first year. The was downright SHAMEFUL

  9. I am a Kraken fan, but it's so frustrating to watch these games. I am no expert, but there just seems to be no drive with the team. There seems to be a lot of turnovers and missed passes. I don't understand what is happening with the team… it's like they are not cohesive or in sync like I've seen them play in the past. Where is the "bug" in the system?

  10. We don’t need JT Miller (of Canucks controversy) talking to the media to know that some Kraken players don’t like what they’re seeing from their teammates. Most frustrations are discernible through body language. ⅓ of the team is trying to win every game, another ⅓ is pressing to get back to playing good hockey, and the last ⅓ has thrown in the towel. We cannot win games when ⅓ of our team has decided we won’t win games. This causes those trying to win every game to resent those manifesting losses. Thus, our chemistry has plummeted off a cliff.

As a youth, I played on numerous sports teams and always gave my best effort regardless of the score. So, I’m struggling to understand why the team isn’t playing for personal pride if not for the playoffs. After all, we don’t see Macklin Celebrini phoning in games just because he’s a Shark. But night after night Kraken players enter the ice physically and exit the ice mentally. There’s no greater evidence for this shift in attitude than how the team played in October and November versus December and January.

At the start of the season, we had a new coach, new free agents, and new hope for the playoffs and it showed in our hustle up and down the ice. All this changed when opponents learned how to counter our playstyle and we didn’t or couldn’t adapt. The situation worsened when Dunn and Eberle landed on LTIR. We went from a promising start and high effort to an early exit from playoff contention and low effort in just two months. The problem isn’t simply one of players wandering in and out of hot and cold streaks because anyone can hustle regardless of a streak. The problem is that there is no desire to hustle because there is no belief in the vision.

I don’t think this is helped by having several essential players who are potential buyouts or trade targets in Grubauer, Burakovsky, Gourde, and Tanev. As much as I’d like to believe that they’d play up to their potential because they’re professional athletes, it wouldn’t be surprising to learn that they’re not invested in the team’s future since they likely won’t benefit from their labor. You don’t invest in an apartment you’ll never rent or own again. If anything, you prepare yourself for a change of scenery and to start learning new systems all over again. And whether or not we like our dependency on these players, they’ve been essential stopgaps for this season.
