The boys are Buzzing!
Let’s hang on a minute! They have a very tough week and a half of tough road games! After that we may have a bandwagon to jump on.
The ToddFather has the boys playing hard

Just happy that todd is back with detroit! Kaner even took a shot at lalonde and now they are actually playing hockey. In a flash, they look so much happier now.
I think it’s ballsy to go out and say they are full buyers based on 7 games of play against mostly bad teams obviously discounting Winnipeg because they are outliers in that statement. I think we should wait until after this Florida trip where we play 3 cup contenders and Philly before we say okay this team is legit or not. Again remember they were 13-17-4 under lalonde. This team has been great the last few games but we cannot damn discretion. We need to remember what they have been because this could just be a streak, again we should wait before say going out and buying. And even if we do buy it will probably be something smaller, some defensive help etc that isn’t super expensive. Lindgren for example is gonna be an arm and a leg plus some hearts I don’t think Stevie is gonna be going after him, the wings don’t want to lose draft capital and prospects as Steve yzerman has stated he is not willing to part with top prospects or picks yet.
I'm excited, too, but let's pump the brakes a little. I like the way they are playing, but it's been against bad teams. If they keep playing hard and moving the puck the way they are, I'll be happy to watch enjoyable hockey.
The wheels can still come off really easily
I never thought they would do this well but hey, they saved a miserable start.
Keep ‘er goin’ boys!!
The Wings have a tough hill to climb. But, this 7 game win streak does have Ws against the Jets and the Capitals – two of the better teams in the league this year.
Florida teams have been the Wings’ bane over the last decade, and there’s a soft rivalry with the Star – due to the Benn-Larkin drama.
This road trip will be the crucible for this new Red Wings team.
lol no they’re not .. they are however gonna have to think twice about their games against us now though . I believe in a couple more years though they are gonna have to start fearing the Wings again. 🐙
Terrified? hmmm…. I don't know about that. GO WINGS!
They will slow down. Def not as bad as they were but probably not as good as they have been either.
I’m just happy that we are significantly better. I’m also glad that Raymond is looking more and more like a superstar. On pace for 90-92 points as a 23 year old is a really good sign. Cat also looks like he’s in better shape, and on pace for 37-40 goals. I don’t think people understand how great of a sign that is, that’s what we were hoping for when we brought him here.
We’re not going to see the Kaner of Chicago, but we don’t need him to be. This current form of Kaner is damn good anyways. I knew it was a problem with Lalonde, because Kane made it very clear that he disagreed with the system.
Truly, what was Lalonde doing? First practice under Big Rod Todd goes for a little over an hour and you hear that it was their longest practice of the season. WTF Lalonde? I'm surprised they won any games under him.
While as a wings fan I am starting to get excited, I am not getting the hope they make the playoffs yet. From both watching the chicago and seattle game, as well as Todd's own words, the wings arent playing a full 60 minutes. They play enough the rest of the game to do well and win, but thats not going to be enough against teams like Dallas, Wilds, Panthers, etc. Also their win streak could be crushed by the sharks tonight, as we did lose against the earlier this season.
As another commenter said, after tonight they have 4 tough road games ahead. If they win at least two of those (preferably against the lightnings and flyers), then I would consider them actually having a chance.
This proves the yzerplan was waiting for the right coach
Great job on the video guys. Doing it better than bigger media
Great information and energy guys. I'm glad I subscribed, Go Wings!!
I dont even care if they make the playoffs this year or not. Even Stevie's highest expectation of rhem seemed to be a wildcard spot. I just care that they are playing EXCITING hockey now.
Ya. I said ten (10) in a row. They are at 7. So they have to beat San José, Florida and Tampa to get where they need to be. Less than eight weeks before TDL – and management has to know what they can do – beating a really good team in Florida – and one of the teams they MUST beat to move up the division! I’d say 3-1 record coming home gets ApDRW fans – MOIST!
I only wish Yzerman fired Lalonde earlier. Also that first loss with McLellan doesn’t count in my book.
You realize we're playing trash teams lately right? Maybe 1 good win
I’m a life long Wings fan.
If we go 12-0 that is when I’ll start hammering the bell.
Guys like Raymond are really learning a higher tier of passing from Kane. That one to Johansson was so perfect (on both ends, pass and shot) that it didnt look like a guys first goal. Hes been alot more slick with the passing latelt
i dont think they can, unfortunatly, seems like they cut the coach about 10 games too late. huge win streak, still not in a wild card spot, dont see it as sustainable
Under Newsy, Larkin had a huge goal drought. To end it, Raymond had to give him an EN goal. Now under Todd he’s scoring virtually every game. We’re alive again. So playoff worthy. LGRW 🐙
ST. LOUIS BLUES like run in the making. They may not win the Cup but they will get to the second round in playoffs as a 6 seed
If theres a Wheel theres a way !
Wheeling to Win!
Lets Go Redwings!
Beat San Jose today

San Jose was a TRAP game. The next 6-8 games will let us know if we even have a chance for playoffs. Sack em up Detroit and RISE TO THE CHALLENGE
