He’s a Psycho, and That’s a Good Thing

Jordan Binnington is known for being a bit of a psycho. But his bold and fearless style makes him a huge asset for the St. Louis Blues and Team Canada in the upcoming Four Nations Tournament.

  1. John 14:6- “Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

  2. He shouldn't even be starting on his own team imo, he's looked washed the last 2 seasons

  3. The fact team canada didn't take thompson essentialy signals their demise before the tournament even starts.

  4. Blues fan here. I'll remember that game 7 performance for the rest of my life. Thank you Binner!

  5. 100% the golatending department is the Achilles heel of our team binnington hasn't been playing great for a while

  6. I also think that Marc Andre Fleury should have been one of the 3 goalies. He's still good

  7. He's a loose cannon who had a flash in the pan season that led to a cup. St. Louis legend but he shouldn't even be in the NHL anymore.

  8. You clearly don't watch lots of hockey. Binnington should absolutely not get Canada's start. He shouldnt even be on the team. It should be Logan Thompson. The start is between Hill and Montembeault whos name you didn't even pronounce right. I think Sam should get it based on how he's straight up stole games for MTL despite their lacking D and what started as a bad Offense. Dudes a stud on a bad team and he's a reason they are doing so well right now.

  9. Binnington's story is just one of the extremely compelling storylines from that fairytale of a season. There are a lot of them. It would make an incredible movie.

  10. Binnington is Cam Ward. A perfectly serviceable goalie who has inflated expectations because he started his NHL career on an all-world heater, but not a top-tier starter.

  11. He has the 'Battlin Billy Smith' attitude. You didn't want to be in Billy's crease. You don't want to be in Jordan's either. 🤷‍♂

  12. Grew up going to the Kalamazoo Wings and Binnington was their starting goalie back in 2012 and man, a lot of the stuff that he does now is just how he's always.

Genuinely he's just the modern Ron Hexall.

  13. Lol yeah and him being a hot head/crazy is more of a liability than a strength. He's a long way away from the cup winning goalie and this video is more copium and painting a picture of "wHo hE rEaLlY iS." is laughable 😂.

Just face it…Canada has mid goaltending and saying this clown is the face of team Canada's goaltending is like settling for the mid overweight chick as your prom date.

  14. They called me the crazy goalie, because, I take no crap from any player, defend myself, when I know the players in front of me can't, to cowardly. But, I know when to fight, and not. Those that think they can push my buttons, I let them make fools of themselves.

  15. To a certain extent, I can understand his psychopathic behavior. If a goalie does too well, he's going to get wrecked. And with the state of the "modern" NHL, some teams or players can do so 100% intentionally and get away with it without even a minor penalty. Some of the best goalies were the ones who would defend themselves. Roy, Hasek, Hextall, etc.

In the 80s-90s, if your goalie was soft; you had a guy on the team with 12missing teeth and 4active braincells to protect him

  16. When Binnington plays good he plays good, but when it isn’t a good game it is not a good game

  17. he could be so much better if the blues FIXED UP THEIR DEFENSE. i’m a blues fan and im pissed at our GM rn.

  18. Binner has had some issues with picking fights before, but it was always when the rest of the Blues were not playing well. Hockey players get frustrated when that happens and often try to start shit, and goalies aren't excluded from that. The league (and its fans) just focuses on him an obscene amount for some reason. Either way he's calmed down since and is still a stellar goalie, especially when he knows a game is important.
