Locked Player for today is gunna be the Tkaptain. Love the emotions but our season turned around last year when JM was able to old man Brady and keep him out of the box — can't lead your team when they're out there cleaning up your mess. In our 1-5-1 stretch of losses Brady took penalties in 6 out of the 7 games. In that same stretch he had 4 penalties in the first period! In our last two wins (last two games) Brady has kept his nose clean. He even avoided taking a penalty during the Pen's "brawl" where 15 penalties were handed out in the ungovernable first period, including one on Sidney Crosby.
Despite how well our PK has been, his game play IQ and leadership are too important to lose. In losses Brady has 3.5x the amount of PIM as he does in the Senator's wins this season. As this game is a can't lose (don't want to be swept by the second worst team in the league) the winning detail I'm watching out for is if Brady can stay disciplined enough to lead his team back into a WC position.

I'm on Team Leevi to start all games if he continues to play as well as he has. Forsy for the Devils I guess. I used to love Forsy but he's had a terrible year other than a couple of games. I'm ready to move on from Forsy unfortunately he hasn't been the same since that double knee injury. This season is about results and not feels and development of players. Leevi has taken a huge step ahead of Soggy in the depth chart.
