But, We know this is just another rumor.
even though this idea of trading Matt is not going to happen, you have to understand Matt had his best years a while ago. He is not the same player from his rookie year. He will be 28 in a few months. He is not scoring this season and he should not be on the first line anymore. If he does get traded, we should get Brad Lambert, Cole Perfetti and this years first round draft pick. This trade i would do. Combine that with a Nelson trade and get back another first rounder will be a great start to rebuild..
