  1. its only "nice" because its so rare, not really hockey in my mind. if this goal happened every game we would get tired of it quick.. kinda lame

  2. He's found a way to do it while moving, usually you're trying to put you're weight on it and scoop it up.. But it's slow and awkward. But he kind of flipped it back into himself and set it up that way. Crazy stuff. How do you even read that as a goalie? Do you just start to expect it and block it with your face? lol

  3. Wow he chipped the puck over the stick of the dman to himself and then pulled the lacrosse move wow this kid is special. Team usa is gonna be scary in 4 years

  4. where I agree with coaches that are skeptical of this trick is that if you need to bend over to get the puck on your stick, it's probably gonna be too slow and too telegraphed to ever be the right decision, but if you can do it in full stride without slowing down at all like zegras just did then it literally becomes the best option to score, and just the threat will force defensemen to leave the front of the net and open up some space.

  5. Underrated part: that chip to himself in the beginning of the play. Wtf this kid is nasty. My new fav non leaf.

  6. The first time that I first saw this move ever pulled off was in an important OHL overtime game around the late 80's/early 90's. And this style of goal Being unheard of at the time, it was all over the news for its new & amazing originality, not to mention the timing of it!…it being an important overtime goal. I've seen this goal done maybe twice more since, but not the way Zegras does it! He makes it look so flawless and so very awesome that His stick handling skills definitely makes him one of my top new rookie faves.👍😉🇨🇦
