  1. This Montreal team is NOT a mirage, it's the real thing.
The players are playing with the confidence that they can beat anyone.
It has been a long time since they played that way.

This Montreal team is playing like a team with each player watching each other's back.

  2. It's so uplifting to see the boys go down a goal or two and know that the team has it in them to make a comeback.

  3. Hopefully, they found their franchise goalie or they'll just be wasting that great talent.Irregardless,Caufield is turning into a superstar,he's a stud!!

  4. Too bad they always play down to their opponents….9-2 streak with losses against CLB and CHI, while beating powerhouses lol

  5. I have absolutely nothing negative to say…this team is definitely feeling it at the moment. Credit HuGo for getting Laine, Carrier and calling up Dobeš for Primeau (also, thx for drafting Hutson!). Credit MSL and the coaching staff for turning this team around, from horrible defence and little offence to suddenly rolling 4 lines that each have their own identity but seem to gel well with each other. And credit this roster for the culture they have built and the comaraderie they have developed for one another.  I still shake my head with the fact that in the Pacioretty deal, we originally suppposedly wanted Cody Glass, and Vegas refused, offering Suzuki instead…and from that one decision, we now have a #1 Center, the highest point leader on this team, AND is now our Captain…crAzy! Nice shout out to Primeau for his win for Laval…I hope he can gain his confidence back and help lead the charge for our Rocket!

  6. Dobes over Monty… sorry but Monty is way too inconsistent I’ve been saying this for a long time and Dobes may FINALLY BE OUR ANSWER!

  7. Hi Drew, I've been a big Canadiens fan since 1990. I live in the middle of the Alps in Central Europe and unfortunately I can only rarely watch live Habs games (the last one was against the Florida Panthers) on TV. This is partly because the games in Europe are well after midnight and partly because they often show games of other teams (especially the Edmonton Oilers). Nevertheless, I follow the team every day via match reports on the NHL-app, YouTube and via Habs Youtubers like you. Our team is playing great and after every game I watch the scores in the early morning with my heart pounding. The Montreal Canadiens bring us a lot of joy. Keep it up guys. Go Habs go.

  8. We are watching them grow character. That intangible things that allows hockey teams to turn things around and tilt the ice.

  9. Great game, Dobes and the boys seem to have found there stride, Slaf had a good 1st period I thought but after that was pretty messy, he turned it over alot missed alot of passes and cant really keep a puck on his stick for some reason.

  10. Use to like recchi until the dissed the organization…I now put him is the useless has bins that good players were sacrificed for like gomez

  11. Very resilient TEAM that has gotten its "never die" attitude back. These guys are all in and it's fabulous to see. Good commentary.

  12. They could catch the no. 2 wild card, BUT they are well within reach of the Bruins too… their match up April 03 might be quite the game standings wise; it may very well have a playoff feel. I know, let's not get ahead of ourselves! I was having a hard time imagining those late season, crucial games a couple of months ago, so it's fun to look ahead and see where we may have some pivotal games. Go Habs Go!

  13. As usual, another great show! Love your enthusiasm, Drew! So my favourite player was, and always will be, Jean Beliveau. That’s how old I am. 😜

  14. I’m a happpppy boy today. I’m so happy to have such a clutch player on the Habs bc when playoff time come in Montreal that’s the perfect player

  15. Last 20 games. 13-7 for a .650 percentage. That's a great sample. Quarter of season. If they didn't poop the bed the start of the season they may be 3rd in division

  16. its not the size of dog in the fight, an these guys are proof of that.
WE is far better then ME !
ole ole ole ole ole !!!!!!!!!!

  17. OMG!!! This team is on fire! On to the next game at the Bell Centre vs. Dallas. Habs are so exciting to watch past month and a bit. Every player plays hard. Wow!! I'm very impressed with the no quit team efforts. Go Habs Go!!

  18. Sorry Drew. Can't hope for Ovechkin while he continues his support and friendship with Putin. He could be a hero and make an impact for the better. He chooses to be an oligarch.

  19. Still my best youtube commentator…. So glad you did not quit like I thought!!!! You got alot of talent.

  20. Suzuki – Tape to tape pass master
    Hutson – Unexpected pass master
    Slaf – Lazer pass master

  21. Big difference this year…..the injury bug is minimal this year……knock on wood. No need for constant line shifting to overcome that.

  22. Props to the hard forechecking from absolutely everyone on the team. The relentless work along the boards is paying huge dividends. A fun group to watch surprising the top teams in the league, kudos boys!!!!!

  23. Hey Drew, get us the inside scoop on Patrick Laine, I'm not buying the flu and the team hasn't updated his status. Just wondering.
