Great discussion guys! Another reason why Hutson gets away with a terribly bad play whereas Matheson gets criticized is because Hutson is a rookie and 10 years younger than Matheson. Shaun, keep up the great podcasts. Regards from Scotland.

Regarding Slafs play this year, in my opinion it's not so much lack of effort but lack of confidence. It's like he doesn't want to overcommit in case he makes the wrong decision which kind of freezes him. His last game was much better and if he pots a few his confidence will come up and people will say he started skating again. Just my observation.

The trend for Dobes is that he will let in 3 goals in his next game and then 4 in the one after that. Unless he is using the Fibonacci sequence then it would be 3 and 5 goals. That's the trend.
Keep it up Shaun and Co. You have something special with this podcast. As a lifetime habs fan since the early 90s, this is the first time i get a sense that this is what a proper rebuild should look like from management, scouting, development, coaching,players etc. Cant wait to see what this team looks like 2 or 3 years from now
