Thanks guys.
Sorry but Monte was heads and tails over Patty that game. Not even close. It was great that he scored on the PP but aside from that he was not the best player on the ice. This isn’t hate on him just being real.
like the bubblehead! lol
I thought we would score 5 in the second we came out with so much energy! They played great
They played two men short last night. Flew back home to face a team that practiced in Montreal Friday. Then they went out and played Dallas to a draw. That was to me more impressive than some of their wins during this streak.
If Montreal needs a veteran it would be something else if we got Sid then have him on the team for a couple of years. Or lets get Cory perry back.😊
Caufield post in OT – so close to bad but we got a point
Newhook had a good nite in the circle 5 and 3 for 62.5% Dach does not take faceoffs. Hopefully Newhook can keep doing well at faceoffs and playing with pace lately. Everyone played well tonight, losing in the gimmic is not a big deal.
Boy o Boy when DemiGod comes next year😂 Look out! There is not a free agent or player traded here that doesn't want to play for the Habs and if there is we don't want a player like that anywhere near this team.😊
Laine was too careless with the puck. A lot of turnovers.
started to fall in to montreal wormhole after Laine trade, getting deeper and deeper. i like you guys always so exited hehe. +1 sub and greetings from finland
2:58 wdym? they gave up a shitload of dangerous chances lol
Can't wait for the schedule to soften up a bit.
A positive is that Montreal has games at hand on everyone except Ottawa in the Wildcard race. We control our own fate!
1 good point
NHL needs to abolish the shootout.. I understand playoff overtime is something special but at least extend 3v3 to 10 min or something.. it’s so entertaining
Laine looked bad today but I guess a goal makes up for it
loss or not this is the best the team was since our run, the now and the future are looking good, exciting time to be a habs fan
Monty made some spectacular stops tonight for the game to get to the shootout.
Slaf 5 blocked shots and 7 hits, by far top of the team 🙂
congrats on 17k im very happy for you guys your love for the habs radiates through the screen i love you jesse and josh
Slaf leading the way in hits in that game. Nice to see!
Great effort from an exhausted team who had plane trouble and only got back from Washington at 2:15 AM.
Hi guys, great podcasts, like the Laine floating head, keep the pods coming. thank-you
When is Laine going to score 5 on 5? When is Dvorak going to score?
All honesty you guys have no clue about rating players on how they play wow
Habs on a back to back, Dallas was rested. I will take the result!
It’s only a matter of time before the Habs hire you guys to do pregame and postgame analysis.
Monty first star….Zuk-Cole 2nd….Laine 3rd…
@ 5:40 What were you talking about Josh, Guhle is massive 6'03 and 200 lbs isn't small to me😊
@Habsdigest Very thing has been going good for Montreal Canadiens lately but the last 15 seconds of the video made me comment … The run the habs have been on is awesome and im loving it but i do not think its all up from here we need to except a step back eventually in my opinion look at Detroit last year they were rolling untill the last 20 games of the year and fell apart and missed the playoffs and Colorado the year before they won the cup they were dead last it is great seeing the habs play like this but i just dont think its all up from here
Shout out to Armia, the guy has been looking like a tank of late. He has been bringing the puck into the zone with speed and going straight to the net.
Jesse. I feel like you speak of the same goal for each game as we had for the season overall. We not only wanted to be in the mix come playoff time but be competitive every game we play and it feels like that.
Either Laine is terrible 5 on 5 or we are not implementing strategy that is effective to have more consistency from our 2nd line. Feels like the 2nd line is a change or 2 away being a problem for other teams to deal with, I see potential for them.
I don’t consider this a loss because the only Dallas goal shouldn’t have counted
That was the most blatant case of interference I’ve ever seen on Newhook trying to backcheck and the Dallas guy went out of his way to turn in front and brake
That's why I don't like shoot-outs. That was a fair tie game. IMO there's nothing wrong with having regular season tie games.
The only guy who I think hasn't been playing his best lately is Gallagher, strangely, he's made some bad passes yesterday resulting in losing the puck or putting it straight on a Stars player's stick, otherwise they played Dallas as if they were equal to them, both teams struggled having significant shots, Monty had a few spectacular saves tho. I'm just a bit sad that Suzuki doesn't do his little mind game trick during shootouts or even during games, he used to score in so many fancy ways by placing it slowly on top of the goalies pad, suddenly changing the speed of the play, he no longer does that as much, which reflects into (other than his OT winners, I so wanted him to get it again yesterday) the lower than usual amount of goals he has normally at this time of the season, I'm sure he'll improve on that because he's not a one trick pony.
