Hated the berube hire the minute it happened. They have defense now which makes up for alot of the issues that appeared under Keefe. Berube is a worse coach with an actual defense. Otherwise this team is unchanged.

Steve is 100% right. But what drives me crazy is that they haven't abolished the drop-back pass after like a decade of failure on that horrible power play. How much more obvious does the solution need to be? It's not coaching. It's the stubborn players

This is exactly what the issue is. Steve has finally either realized or admitted it. You need at least one Tkachuk type player (super rare) and multiple close to his fire. blood on the face, fight for every inch type player. OEL is the only defenceman on this team that has that fire and Domi has it to me. This is exactly what is missing from this team.
Why would you get carved by Canucks fans? These teams are mirrors of each other, we both give boosts to teams on losing streaks, and our former players score on us all the time. So, ya, we are just mirrors.
