In no way shape or form is it Lawrence. They just heard it pronounced the wrong way for so long that they accepted it anyone rememebr when Zack Parise got to New Jersey. He stopped his last name of any heritage and wanted to be called Pair-ese I hope the phonetic spelled made sence. 😅
