TLDC? 2 hours of grainy, awesome hockey fights. Go fuck yourself.
Back in the day as a dumb little squirt in the 90s, my pals and I used to go to the mall and muck about. We’d just walk up and down, going to the food court, the arcade and just everywhere. As we walked around we would always make a point to pop into the Sports shop. Nah, we didn’t need any batting gloves or cups for our lil weiners, but we would pop in here to gaze upwards at the tv. The tv that nonstop showed hockey fights. Nonstop hockey fights is, what you call, the best shit ever. Was then, still is now. The kicker is, they were selling this vhs tape for 20 bucks. 2 hours of hockey fights for 20 bucks. Well, I didn’t have 20 bucks. No one did. So what does a young whipper snapper with a hard-on for hockey fights do when they’re after 20 bucks? They rifle through every coat jacket, scour the bottom of every pocket book, and pick up every motherfuckin penny they find until they get 20 bucks so they can watch hockey fights with their friends. And that’s just what I did. I think I got the belt a couple times for snagging a couple singles from my Mom’s pocket once, but them’s the breaks.
So what you have here is 2 hours of vintage hockey fights. Some diehard hockey fan collected tons of hockey fights and strung them all together and even tossed in some Metallica and other songs that will probably get this video taken down. It’s so damn DIY and a total work of love. But also, it’s an old ass VHS tape that was sitting in an attic for over two decades. So, the tracking is fucked, the sound is messed, it’s grainy and old and smells. But guess what? That’s called fuckin charm. This tape will bring you back to the days when it was normal to watch static tv. Back in the day, you watched static. Because at some point the static will go away. Right? Who knows. But you hoped. The static comes and goes here and it’s great.
Sit back, get in an old school type of mentality and watch some hockey slug fests. Or don’t, I could give a shit.
