Fantastic end to win the game after a bad first period by Oettinger,, prob wouldn't have had to go into OT if DeSmith had been in the net instead of Oettinger tonight, its not how you start tho its how you finish
Saying the Rangers suck is a ridiculously dumb statement. Yeah they're not in playoff contention right now but arrogantly calling them a crap team is beyond arrogant and very ignorant. They're a team full of talent and 2 high level goalies, yeah they def are missing some of their top players they traded away but this is a trap team that the Stars have ZERO business underestimating with their track record against teams like the Blackhawks and Nashville who are far worse teams than the Rangers.
Otter was def the biggest loser for me tonight and Benn or Harley as the biggest winner, they were both fantastic tonight.
I'm admittedly a newer Stars (and hockey) fan. My husband and I first started watching last year in the playoffs, and now I've only missed watching two games this season. This game felt like watching the playoff Stars from last spring. It was SUCH an exciting game, but stressed me out. Loved seeing us come back from 3-0, which was huge considering how weak we've been coming back from behind to win this season. I also loved seeing the power play goals and seeing all the goals, especially from key players like Robo who have struggled. I love seeing the energy Benn has had since having Duchene on that line. Dutchy is my favorite to watch. I feel like he is a driving influence for this team with his energy and his attitude and his play, which always seems ON.
