As a combo Leafs Canucks fan and pretty much a diehard of both teams I'm torn for Saturday lol on one hand Steve's right the Leafs need to run Van outta town. On the other hand my Leafs are doing really well overall and my Canucks are in turmoil so I probably wouldn't be too bummed if the Leafs lost that game lol cuz Van needs some momentum.
I guess like THG says he doesn't care who wins when any combo of Boston Dallas and Vancouver play each other (he's big fan of all 3) fan wise I pretty much can't lose on Saturday cuz either way a team I root for wins lol.

Joe Niuwendyk was supremely underrated and my personal fav player of all time. If he never messed up his knee, his stats would have been soo much better. His first 2 seasons were 50g close to 100p before he knee went a d he changed his play style. Went on to win cups in every city he played in untill he got to Toronto sadly enough. He even has a playoff mvp under his belt and an R.O.T.Y. not bad for a dude with a shattered knee cap.

I have to record the games and watch them later at night, but I have to be on YouTube in the evenings, and normally your LFR video shows up as recommended and so many times I haven't bothered watching the game because you already told me the score (for whatever reason, it just ruins it for me). So tonight I was able to finish my stuff on YouTube without knowing the score, then go watch the game. So thanks again, for that! 🥳

Couldn’t the people who don’t like the new title format because they like to re-watch wins just add the wins videos to a playlist? IMO keep the new title format for the international viewers to not spoil highlights, don’t worry about updating titles later on… extra work… when people have the resources to do what they want, just don’t want to put in the effort…

Who was the one complaining about the title showing goals scored. Must of been one of those basketball always injured or rest day fan. If you were a hockey person you would know better to complain about the score in the title. Just trolling the day 4 comment of going back to the old format. LoL.
Toronto needs a new PP coach or they are going to get Mirked in the playoffs bcs you know they can’t not get a penalty. To add their turnovers is horrendous.

they pllayed better than the score or the first lines +/- would indicate. If you had a couple back for Woll and our First line was only half the integer, It would have been a different evaluation of the evening. I use Joe Bowens voice to indicate the level of compete in the team. He is like a barometer for performance. and the 3rd line looked good from what I could tell and Carolina's golaie improved and got lucky too. This game was a lesson.

Let's not blow a gasket here, Steve. Like, come on. The Leafs are cruising. What Berube has done with this squad has made him a Jack Adams candidate. They're a clear 4 points (or is it 2 now?) on top of the Atlantic, and Toronto and Florida are gonna be in a race for #1 in the ATL. Can we NOT overreact and pretend the sun is exploding when the Leafs lose a game?? This is hockey. It happens. They weren't disastrous. If they had been disastrous, then you have the right to be upset, barely. And in my opinion, you don't even get that "right".
This is what I hate about Toronto media/content creation/everything about the team. When they win, they're on route to a Cup. 1 loss, after a 5 game win streak? Team is shit. Played like garbage. leafs could have won 4-3 if nylander didnt hit post one of his brake aways. 1st period was a great fast pace with nylander skating on a higher level. Kinda looks like there are only 3 teams in the way of leafs winning the cup.
You don't waste any more assets on this core. If the D and the Goal has improved and you still get crushed by solid teams, IT'S THE CORE.

Being a Leafs fan who lives in North Carolina, I took this game in live. Despite the outcome, it was still a very exciting game to take in live, and actually the way it went down led to some awesome fan interactions with the non-leaf-fan locals.
Not great for the points total, but still great value for money.

Somewhat (maybe?) observation that Steve missed is that the game on Saturday vs the Canucks…. for both the Leafs and the Canucks, the last team they played against was the Canes (Canucks v Canes is tonight)
