  1. terrible game.
should have pulled the goalie after 3 down . skinner never win a game after 3 down. look at the stat sheet. coach problem..
that experiment wth brown on the top line. does not work. mcd did not have a pt at even strength since brown moved up. he works hard but he is not a finisher like hyman 。 coach problem again..

  2. Coach should be fired skinner should have been pull this team won’t go no where with him and Stan bowman they was lucky last season

  3. Sorry Kris…..this one is on you…..and I am just another arm chair critic….monday morning quarterback…..but

    1) Keep Skinners confidence intact after a stellar performance in Boston…put Pickard in net against the Pens

    2) Put Pickard in net to get the feel with the defence

    3) Oilers have a great track record against the Pens – the boys would have woken up earlier on…Pickard in net…your up against a journeyman goalie ….and no Malkin

    4) Keep Skinner going against Chicago….keep Skinners confidence going

    5) Jet lag – I wouldnt be happy about standing on my head 2 nights in a row

    ……but thats just me….

    ……anyways my thoughts…..move on….

  4. Can’t put too much blame on Stu for this one. The first period was way too comfortable for Penguins. It was not weak defense, it was just no defense at all. No urgency, no effort, just a rough start overall.
A personally suggestion, instead of Bouch shooting so many attempts at the blue line, let Ekky and other guys shoot more, Bouch Bombs haven't been working at all…also don't let Bouch shoot at Leon's spot, he just can't make it…

  5. By the time the oilers woke up it was too late. Usual suspects making those same consistent mistakes. Why does Arvidsson keep falling during puck battles? Bad night for stu after posting a shutout

  6. Sit Bouchard for a game. Time for him to learn some responsibility while playing. How many goals were caused because of him lately? Too many.

  7. For me number one culprit is Knoblauch. Regardless if Stu's fault or not, he should have replaced Stu already at 3-0, take timeout, yell the team awake. Knoblauch is not managing crisis situations, regardles how good of a technical trainer he may be. And when a team is 'asleep' for 20 minutes, what is the trainer waiting for? The break? Knoblauch, Skinner and Bouch are killing any chance of winning cups in Edmonton

  8. exactly, RIGHT QUESTION: 'when you OWNED a team since 2019, shouldn't you EXPECT them to come out hard? Where was the motivation and preparation Knoblauch did for the team, to start prepared instead of asleep for 20 minutes???

  9. DEFENSE STILL FALLING Back To OLDER BAD HABITS , BOUCHARD PLAYING WELL FOR THE OPPOSING TEAM , SUCKS For OILERS BACKEND .
Take man out at blue line , stop puck chasing , AND DEFENSE STAY OUT OF GOALKEEPERS LINE OF SIGHT AND STAY OUT OF THE CREASE .
EASY FIXES , ITS BEEN MORE THEN BLATANTLY OBVIOUS .
Not sure if bouch is shitting the bed on purpose or just phoning in his horrible lack of effort and team cohesion which he seems lackadaisical at best .

  10. Terrible goaltending again. When you gonna realize that skinner just can’t be consistent.

  11. Unfortunatly it is the same two face mentality like in the last years. You can loose a hockey game but the way they loose games like this let me think they will never win a stanley cup under this circumstances.
And i dont know whose "fault" it is.
