   2:02… shoulder to the head… i agree hall shouldnt have his head down, but doughty knew all a long what he was doing and where he was targeting. border line clean hit… and props for oilers for backing up one of their star rookies.

   Why did Edmonton attack Doughty? That was a textbook hit on a kid who has a problem with skating in the open ice like an idiot. Don't they teach their young star players to be aware of their surroundings in Edmonton.

    I like Edmonton a LOT more than I like LA, but Drew Doughty is one of the few Kings players that I really love, and Taylor Hall annoys me. That hit was fucking barbaric.

    PERFECT hit. Timed perfectly, shoulder down, feet planted. Absolutely NOT a headshot. Stupid remark by the commentators. Didn’t run at him, didn’t hunt him, didn’t blindside him. See how Hall got right back up? That’s because it was nothing other than a beautifully timed hockey hit. Instead of going after doughty, Penner should’ve just told hall to keep his head up next time.
