Granlund is 32 years old and a useful piece for a contender
In terms of the goalies it could be both….if your taking back another goalie.
It’s wild that the trade value of third pairing defensemen and backup goalies are netting big returns this year. It will be a good year to send out Ceci, Ferraro and Rutta.
If Grier can pull another 3 picks out of the next draft he may have enough capital to move back up into the 1st.

I'd argue this is a bit debatable. They gave us a late third but we also sent Emberson back. Emberson's value likely wasn't a third, but considering it's a late third and we sent an early third for Thrun, I don't think it's THAT far off of his value. It's been discussed recently that Emberson and the Oilers are close to signing an extension, so I don't think it was just a throw-in to even out contract numbers.
