Flyers #1 goalie Sam Ersson left the NYE game versus the Sharks after the 2nd period and was replaced by Aleksei Kolosov, who helped earn a combine shutout as the Orange and Black defeated the Sharks 4-0.
Ersson did collide with the Sharks’ Luke Kunin on a puck race but it is unclear when the injury occurred and what the official diagnosis is.
Bill, Charlie, and Kelly discuss the never-ending goalie situation and what this will mean for the Orange and Black moving forward into the new year.

I think I’m out on Ersson..constantly hurt and not consistent when he does play. Backup at best
I think this is the reality with him. Injuries are starting to pile up with him.

Fedotov unfortunately has not been given a real chance, Torts doesn’t want the guy, sad really. Fire Torts asap!
