Do the Bruins even have the players to make this work?
The Bruins are all set for many years to come as surely as they have many of their corpse (sic) players tied up at rates that (according to the pundits) might seem high now, but will appear as bargains later on..if the said players are not injury-ridden and/or don't feel like just playing on that particular game day. Note: they are not doing that now because…they also said they're not. 😜
The only possible real huge trade bait we have is in our defense core. We can't trade Pastrnak, no one is gonna want Swayman for what he's getting paid. Looking at our defense, I cant see anyone taking on McAvoy and his 9mil a year considering his horrible output and the rest simply are not going to get us enough in return to do anything to turn our offense around. This team simply put needs some way to fix our powerplay nightmare. Fire whoever is responsible for our powerplay (whoever it is) cause we certainly have enough skilled players out there, on the 1st unit anyway. They just continue to roll out the same sad lines etc and are not trying new things. We are in most games, as always over the years but this powerplay is dragging us down. We need to fix it. Making trades out of desperation only means we get the short end of the deal.
I would get rid a bunch of guys on this roster for Petterson. I wonder, though, if upperer management will let Sweens make any moves…..wait, you just said that while I was typing!!! Whoa
Do they want Zadorov back??? (Please), along with a Lindholm (pick either one)? and draft pick(s) for Peterson?
Trade Don sweeney and maybe Cam as a kicker. And they need to STOP selling the future for a hill of magic beans.
Would like to see swayman gone but no one would take that contract 8.25 million for 8 years so were stuck with the bum!!!!!!!!
Agree, Pettersson is the better option. But, don't trade Hampus Lindholm.

Only a handful of keepers in the entire organization. Time to blow it up and build a proper NHL roster. Unfortunately, the terrible contracts Sweeney has given out in recent years will make moving much of the dead weight impossible.
2028 could be our year, if we're willing to suffer in the short term.
Unless a really good deal is made, the Bruins should sell off near the deadline and try and maximize the return
Great Stuff Court .. My thoughts is for the Bruins to reset in the off season , maybe move Frederick… believe this season was all about the drama in the off season with Swayman , slow start, and under performance of the players, all coaches not being at there best, and finally the players maybe believe things were so easy for them the last few years at the start of the season , they didn't have to put the work in to start the season .. overall combination of poor performance , decisions, and planning across the whole organization has lead to this situation ..
