Mentors Trip Game 2 | The Leaf: Blueprint Moment

The Toronto Maple Leafs came away with a 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers in the second game of a back-to-back. Conor Dewar set the tone for the night by dropping the gloves and earned the belt for sparking the squad. Matthew Knies scored the game-winning goal, while Joseph Woll made 30 saves to help the team secure their second win of the Mentor’s Trip.

  1. Dewar gained crazy respect after that game. Still don’t like him and Kämpf in the same game but he played his ass off last night!

  2. Marner and Nylander need to switch lines because Marner has really good synergy with Tavares.

Switch Lorentz and Reaves to give the third line a bullying line. Pacioretty, Domi and Reaves will send players to the ER.

For trade deadline get Elias Pettersson for Tavares and whatever else it costs. He's young and will only get better. He's also a good backup for whenever Matthews breaks a nail and needs to go to Germany to get that special hot pink with glitter.

  3. Dewar has slowly become one of my favorite players on the team… he is quiet you dont hear about him much but when i see him on the ice the guy is like a dog on a bone… He throws the body and backchecks Hard… does everything you could ask of a bottom 6 guy!! glad to see him get the John Cena belt!
