  1. Hockey Canada put the wrong team on the ice – too many first rounders were not there (at least 4 or 5)

  2. Remember when Craig Button said the Habs wouldn't win one single game in the playoffs? They went to the finals. How does this idiot still have a job?

  3. Button nailed it with regard to Cameron. I've been saying it the whole time – this was the worst coaching I've seen in a high profile tournament…and it's not even close.

  4. The US keep their players together as a development team in the USHL, whereas, Canada has a short term All Star team. There is a difference.

  5. Craig, I've been scouting goaltending in this country, I've been doing that for years, and the biggest failure is in how goaltenders are trained and developed in this country right now. One thing I noticed with team Canada, they like these "Instagram" play, cut the BS fancy plays, play a more direct game in a short tournament and the coach was the wrong coach right from the beginning.

  6. sweden lost the semifinal to an inferior team because they didnt fix their boxplay.. finland won it because they had the best goaltender. and that willander penalty was brutal.

  7. i agree with craig button, but also like to expand his views.. EVERYTHING about this tournament is WAY to sensationalistic.. its a one-game elimination tournament. why cant we just enjoy it – instead of patternize everything. canada lost in the quarterfinals, because they had no direction as a team, they played bad quarterfinal. and that was that. in the grand scheme of things, its totally meaningless.
