  1. I as a Montreal Canadiens fan, am pleasantly surprised at the last few games they have played. A win against quite a few really good teams and some better defensive play, along with the performance of the rookie goalie, has made me feel really good about this teams direction. I would like to see Slafskovsky get sent down to the minors and have some time to figure out his game there, if he is still on 2 way contract.

  2. Just taking a guess arpons just gunna shit talk the habs as usual its a good thing hes a writer with very little knowledge about the game otherwise we might actually give a fck about his opinion 😂😂😂

  3. Montreal is playing what is called…a good brand of hockey…they are right the style is very repeatable with the staff they have and the staff in the minors that are coming up.

  4. Im not so sure about the habs being sellers if theyre in a position for playoffs come the deadline. Ivan Demidov and Michael Hage are two elite prospects still in the pipeline. The young players who are here now, need to get some experience playing competitive hockey and playoff experience would be a bonus. We got Lane Hutson as a 62nd pick, the best rookie in the nhl. Theres plenty of those picks left.

  5. We all knew this year the goal was to be competitive. Next year the goal will be a playoff run, maybe win a series. The following season when we have Demidov in the mix, Jacob Dobes and Hutson playing great we should be contenders. You can see Hughes has a plan and it’s on schedule.

  6. You know, Canadiens have made a lot of good moves, and a lot of good draft picks over the last few years while telling the faithful to be patient. Those who've followed the team have seen steady progress, and felt that someday soon things would turn around and Montreal would find itself with a stellar, young team again. I'm still sceptical that that day has come, but this past few games has definitely convinced me that if it hasn't, then that day is achingly close. The team is about to be very good for a long time. I really hope it's now, just had too many disappointments to commit to it's here, am still of the mind that it's coming. Soon.

  7. No need to trade these guys. They have plenty of picks. Unless they do hockey trades, make a run boys.
