He's trying to sound as optimistic as possible, but man, you can tell he really did not want to leave St. Louis. I feel for him on a personal level. A contract that size didn't make sense for the Blues though, and long term the organization will be better for it. Going to miss seeing him dawn the blue note. Nothing but love for this guy. Thanks for an awesome 12 years, Alex!
