Adam Henrique potted a pair of goals and Stuart Skinner stopped 26 shots as the Edmonton Oilers claimed a 4-0 shutout over the Boston Bruins.

    Why are Oiler fans saying Skinner stole this game tonight you guys were winning reguardless if he played like crap tonight since my Bruins couldn't score again to save their lives.

    People blaming Bouche on the two breakaways need to look at the game a bit more. At 4:59, this can't be blamed on him. On the powerplay do you notice McDavid was positioned as the right defenceman with Bouchard at the left of faceoff? If Oilers win the faceoff it's hopefully going to McDavid and over to Bouche for his bouche bomb as their would have been ample of room for his shot. The mishap on the faceoff forced the Oilers back. the puck came close enough to Bouche for him to advance on the puck for sure and McDavid was positioned as the closest Oiler to play back. That breakaway can't and isn't blamed on Bouche. The 2nd breakaway was Bouches fuckup for sure but he was able to close off the center lane forcing the shooter on the backhand. That 8:58 breakaway was a bad deflection off the boston player from Nuge. I'm not sure what could be done on that one. The full game didn't provide a better angle to that and NHL highlights showed the same view.

    overall good game oilers!! You guys are playing exciting good hockey.

    Great game by Stu. Too bad he doesn't get the shutout. With the Oilers playing this well, I can't wait to see them with Kane back at 100%

    What's with all the Bouchard give-a-ways in the past month? Three painful ones tonight and when he gets beat, not much effort to follow up.

    I want a rule change! If a fight starts you drop your helmet, your stick and your gloves. The person who keeps his helmet on will be penalized longer after the fight. 🥊💪 I know… I know, technically speaking he has to go to the bench if his helm drops but yeah, during a fight his helm drops as well. During the fight he can still fall with his head on the ice and get crippled or worse. So, there are no excuses. Do the fight right or do not fight at all and ban it (game misconduct).
