There are no single pieces on the Rangers roster that would replace Miller. It would have to be a bundle.
It’s gotta be Zibanejad + Schneider for JT Miller + Desharnais. Only way it works. They obviously won’t give up Lafreniere, he’s the future at forward of their organization. While most of their defense core are young and still have lots of time left. And if Miller blocks all trades to other teams then I guess the only player who’s trade able is Pettersson, which there doesn’t seem to be any teams willing to trade a star player for a star player and keep trying to give us scraps. I say we just ride it out and call this season an L. Maybe it will work out better next year.
This trade talk is gone too far personally, I think Peter and Miller will not get traded. Also Ziba? Him of all guys?
Zibanejad, Lafrenier, and 2 seconds for Miller maybe…but I'd rather Miller stayed in Vancouver, same with Petey.I know that is a ridiculous trade idea, but Zibanejad just isn't good enough.
Ya no way, if they want our player then they need to make it worth our while, we didn’t reach out to them. There needs to be a top 4 defence coming back, for anyone of our bottom pairing guys.

Best trade I heard was Peterson for Svechnikov. Imagine a Sven/Miller/Sherwood line.
Well this was earlier in the season. Lot has changed… the situation between EP & JT has gotten worse in the media and according to spittin chicklets (which I normally don't think too highly of unless it's player news) claims JT would only waive to NYR. So unless you're trading EP (which VAN should not do) the only place JT would waive allegedly is NYR. Miller has Van but the nuts unless EP is traded or they make up
Why would Vancouver give up one of their best players for a scrub like Zibanejad? Try tossing in some depth and a 1st rounder…then just maybe
