you ever think that you, the media is driving this rift? hammering it into the ethos every fucking day……
People treat sports like their news. If their news doesn't have the same bias that they do, they're biased against them and intolerable. This situation is a thing, whether we like it or not, and I'd rather the media, especially local media, keep us in the loop rather than pretend nothing is wrong, even if it's a painful truth some people don't want to hear. I've been a fan since 1990. I'm not attached to any one player. Just make the team better. If there's a problem, fix it and move forward.
Zero info in this hit, but I don't blame them for having no news.
It's this constant media and social media barrage of stories pumping out about rifts and trades that's certainly not helping this Team play better. The players hear this and think they're on the move, which is unsettling to everyone. Vancouver would be stupid to trade either player and this Management Group doesn't seem like they're stupid.
So this is trade news? All teams are calling about Miller. When doesn't that happen. Without doubt teams have called about DEMKO, Pete, Hughes and others. This is not news ever since the Great One was traded.
Maybe, just maybe the team is less worn out by this “situation” and more annoyed having to address it all the time by a weirdly obsessive and speculative local media.
I love it how every podcast media show knows the noise is most likely hurting this club yet every dam show keeps making shows about it ffs. It's like you guy's know the players are watching and you know this will just keep kicking them down… MOVE ON ALREADY
When a team is not playing up to expectations BS rumours will start in the media. Just look at the NY Ranger rumours. Hockey media has no accountability for the BS they start so they have something to talk about. And once started they want to blame the fan base for it.
Guys quick talking Miller, he has a NO TRADE! You need guys like Miller who bring more than just points to the equation. If there is a trade of one of them it will be Petty. Why do you think teams are calling about Miller? So your rational is trade a guy every other contending team wants????
None of this has anything to do with Patterson and Miller. It's never had anything to do with Patterson and Miller. We had all this drama before during the Boudreaux era and it had nothing to do with Boudreau. It had nothing to do with Boudreau. You can't win games consistently with two top four defensemen. Unless they're both Norris caliber defenseman + both healthy
