  1. The ToddFather has the boys playing hard, El Gato is quietly putting up goals, may surpass the 40G year in Chicago

  2. Crazy how different the effort level seems. They’re playing like they want to win. Some sloppy moments but they just keep scratching and clawing. Fun to watch again.

  3. TMac calling goal tender interference challenge inspired by Dan Campbell going for it on 4th down. Red Wings entering their season of grit.

  4. My thoughts are I don’t think the players didn’t hate Lalonde. I just think they didn’t respect him. I think he was “in over his head” and his laid back attitude seeped into the play on the ice. I mean it’s subtle, but I’ve seen McClellan do more coaching behind the bench in these 5-6 games than Lalonde ever did in 2.5 seasons. It’s night and day

  5. there is quite a few teams if they lose a goalie the season is toast… the wings technically have 4 NHL level goalies and Cossa

  6. The best hiring of a new head coach since Scotty Bowman 🔥
This looks like a new exciting team and all our prospects lighting up the World Juniors have me really excited again.

  7. I was hoping you guys would talk about your thoughts about Johansson pairied up on the second pair with Edvinsson. Great video boys!

  8. What an ending!! 🤣final iihf stat counts ASP 10 pts 4 goals in 7 games. Stancl was a beast for the Czech with 7 goals. Kiiskinen 6 goals 7pts in 7 games. Augustine maybe not an elite performance but enough to earn the record and a gold medal.

  9. I honestly can't help but think the loss of David Perron had a much bigger impact than any of us could have imagined it would. Not sure of any other way to explain the difference from Oct until McClellen was hired.

  10. Augestine 🇺🇸 won the gold 🥉again this year and looks like a serious contender to challenge Cossa in a few years to be the Wings goalie of the future or preferably part of the best 1-2 punch in the entire NHL ❤
Kiiskinen 🇫🇮 (Wings new prospect (68th overall 2023-6'2-200lbs RHF) from Gibson trade with Nashville + we got a late 2nd (Lighting) used in Walman trade) he scored a goal in the last 6 straight games winning Silver as one of 🇫🇮 best players. (Walman trade looks good to me now lol)
ASP (RHD) Captain of 🇸🇪 looked Amazing as always as one of the tournaments best players again this year 4-6-10 pts. He scored a really sick shootout goal also tonight.

Great podcast again tonight Gentleman 🍻

  11. Getting Kan going again is a big bonus. Did not seem like a great signing then Patrick is in gear and making plays again.
Kane could be a great signing again for next year if things keep going well.
The Atlantic division is still an uphill climb due to all the good teams, but Detroit is not a laughing stock now.

  12. Part of me was curious if MacLellan challenged to send a message to the guys. Either that he trusted them enough to challenge borderline goals or to see how the guys responded in the kill. Doing things like that may help to show that the coach has confidence in them and them busting their asses to get the team out of the situation.

  13. Thank you Todd, you brought life to this team. Seider, Ray, Kaner, and Debrincat have played some of the best hockey in the NHL lately. Even Cat was checking HARD on Saturday. Seider is absolutely an elite defensemen at this point, and Simon is improving. Once ASP is part of this team, it’s going to be a good time. Go Wings.

Little side note, I liked what Todd said after the game “who cares how I feel, people come to watch the players, not the coach.” He’s just happy to give the boys their confidence back.

  14. What’s crazier about Seider in the Jets game is that he didn’t have one assist as you guys said multiple times, he had 3.

  15. Ope – little slip up when talking about Seider's assists. Forgive the guys, they missed the secondary assists and were nervous about the Patreon name reads at the end. 😂

  16. Great insights into the 2 games (as usual) but watching Evan slog through the Patreons at 12mph was utterly priceless. Did he lose a bet with Brad? Well done guys!
