There’s a 2026 3rd heading to Columbus as well. The 2025 first is top 5 protected
solid pick up for minnesota IMO, good trade for now and the future, my confusion is where hes gonna play while Spurgeon is in the lineup… it is a shame they gave up Hunt, cuz he was someone I really liked and looked forward to seeing, but who knows how things pan out, maybe jiricek plays 3rd pair and powerplay this year and moves up once Spurgeon ages out
And the Wild will have Yurov coming over next year…..FYI

Marco Rossi likely gets traded if they make a move for Brock Nelson if the Islanders aren't competitive. Even if they sign 1-2 guys in July and don't do a major trade at the deadline, they may trade Rossi if they sign Yurov. I really like Rossi and I hope they find a way to keep him, but for cap reasons he might be the odd man out, especially if the Wild are looking to add a Boeser or Nelson.
Love it for the Wild, huge move for the future and if skating is his biggest weakness then Faber and Buium definitely won’t hurt to have stapled to him.
As a Wild fan, this makes me very happy
