The Greatest American Born Player Hockey Has Ever Seen…

Patrick Kane. Showtime. Kaner. The American Sniper. If I tried to fit in every clutch goal, every unforgettable moment he’s had throughout his career into this intro, we’d be here for about 20 minutes—. Has there ever been a player with more clutch genes in his body? Has there ever been a better American-born talent to lace up skates and own the ice?
In a previous video, we marveled at Pavel Datsyuk—The Magician, whose highlight reel feels like something out of a dream. But Patrick Kane? Kane is right there alongside him. He’s not just a star who dominated the game; he’s the player who sparked a fire in a generation of American kids, inspiring them to pick up a stick, hit the rink, and fall in love with hockey.
Patrick Kane has a gift that feels almost otherworldly—a knack for bending the pace of the game to his will, holding fans’ attention every time the puck finds his stick. Everytime kane gets the puck still to this day, you almost except something magical to happen
Though he may be one of the smallest players on the ice, he moves with a command and grace that seem to defy physics, blending sharp precision with an unshakable calm. There’s an effortless flair to both his presence and his play, a kind of quiet confidence that sets him apart. #patrickkane #blackhawks #chicagoblackhawks #nhl #hockey #icehockey

  1. 1st Ever American born MVP/ 3 time Cup winner/ Calder Trophy(Rookie of the year)/And The Conn Smythe…1ST BALLOT HOF

  2. 1st ballot hall of famer. Am gonna try my damndest to be at the game when his number goes into the rafters of the UC

  3. Showtime is unreal, but I mean, Mike Modano is literally the highest point scoring American player in the history of the game.

  4. Frolík a Chicago legend? Maybe to some a fan favorite with alright stats and
3 to 4 significant plays that did make a difference

  5. Drunk cry everytime I see Kane and Toews videos, growing up on the dynasty and growing up playing hockey its just… idk how to explain it to someone who wasn’t there to experience it

  6. Pat in that miserable game last night where no one was trying at all randomly in the middle of the game did a body weight crossover deke on the Blues d like it was 2010. Rush to the net, but no space and no one trailing so he just ended up flinging a backhander into the goalie's glove. It's in the sportsnet highlights of the game.

He does things that make you wonder how much is actually still in there. Like in the playoffs w the Rangers when he scored that goal. He hadn't had a goal like that in years. Then he just happens to do one in the playoffs his first time back in them in a long time. Him not being on good teams w good players is sad. We've been cost so many highlights.

  7. That’s a bold statement. Leetch, Modano, Chelios, Richter-might all qualify. And Kane might be the best American player ever, but he’s not head and shoulders better than everyone.

  8. Was so fortunate to grow up in Chicago during the Blackhawks dynasty. Got to DJ for Kane and Toews after they won the 2015 cup at a club in Chicago.

  9. As an avid wild fan I knew I was about to relive multiple heartbreak goals. But at the end of the day you have to tip your cap to the skill and vision Kane has.

  10. I still can't stand him…

The greatest American born hockey would have to be any member of the 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey Team's gold medalists.
If you are talking "greatest American born NHL player" I cast my vote for either Mark Howe or Joey Mullen.

  11. Im canadian but even I know thats not the greatest american player. hull, chelios, matthews, tkachuck, wheeler, stastny, modano.
