9:30 "The NHL has some gray areas" 😂
What the H ? I mean, where’s the H ? EMBELLISMENT ?
I have never understood the allure of the outdoor games. In my opinion, it doesn’t look as good on TV as a conventional arena game. The lighting is not as good, camera angles are strange, etc.
As far as being there live in a large football or baseball stadium environment, I just don’t see the attraction either. Fans are too far from the action and it is too hard to follow the puck. I understand the novelty of it but I think that ship has sailed.
Tired of the arrogance of the people who run Canada hockey.
Go Finland even if I was born in Sweden
Coach Bednar was right on the money with his post game comments on the situation with the refs and Scott Wedgewood. When a player is down injured on the ice, it’s a safety thing. The refs should’ve done the right thing and blown the whistle. That was not OK. Sadly, the NHL being the NHL, they won’t do a darn thing except fine Bednar for saying something negative about their precious, perfect officials.
Talking about embellishment…anyone seen Martin Necas lately? 1st, the laying on the ice after the hit by Timo, then the shoulder to shoulder hit vs the Panthers…if he doesn’t get fined for the same at some point, then the NHL is consistently inconsistent in another area…
3 games on a intentional slewfoot is not even close to being enough.
Didn't the refs call the play dead earlier in the game while the Avs had the puck but a Buffalo player went down hurt? NHL should eliminate ambiguity in the injury rule with stiff penalties for anyone faking them to stop a play.
the NHL leaving NBC for ESPN and TNT has been bad.. plus the winter classic needs a pause and you cant keep doing the same teams.
There are a lot of good countries playing

Losing to Czechia isn't embarrassing, losing to Latvia is. If they'd lost to Latvia then went on to medal it's fine, but this is just a disgrace.
Canada’s GM should be canned.
Well Finland stopped the USA. Favoured sure, but it’s not like they have been a juggernaut so far. Plus it’s jrs. Expect the odd unexpected!
Sorry Canada. No cup for you. We do have a little room on Train Freebird. Hop aboard!
Haha Hamilton got called out for being a drama queen
I didn't even know when the winter classic was. I miss the damn thing every year because I look to the NHL schedule on the app or website to track when games are. If the classic was listed there, I'm guessing it was just shown like a normal game and I'm not a Hawks/Blues fan. Oh well, maybe next year?
Get rid of all of the outdoor games for a few years, and then hit the reset button. After that, focus on concepts like the Lake Tahoe game.
Carolina’s Nemec and Orlov need to be fined; but I’m not holding my breath
It's time to bring in the full face shield for all players, just the same way they brought in the helmet rule years ago. Too many players get clipped accidentally, which is not a high stick with intent to injure. The game is faster now and little clips do not need to be penalized, so protect the full face.
Winnipeg and Minnesota in Minni please!
When I hear you say that the early elimination of Canada (for the second year in a row) is for you not important. And in this type of tournament you are more interested in the development of players and de upcoming draft I feel really strange. For an European, national team is always the most important issue. Players, coaches, managers should always prioritise national teams. It is weird how in America sports it is usually so secondary. For Europeans it sounds weird.
